Delta Sigma Pi - Lambda Phi

I work for my dad as an office manager for a women’s footwear company. We license popular footwear brands and sell them to retail stores across the nation, so work is always interesting. I’m a natural athlete and I love to play sports, any and all sports. It’s probable that I at some point have played every sport on some sort of organized team, a true tomboy at heart. When I’m not living on a hockey rink you are sure to find me in a movie theater. I am a huge movie buff, with a personal collection of 800+ DVD’s, and a list of movies to see so long I may never reach the end. I worked at Blockbuster Video, the main contributors to my DVD collection, and spent a good year working for the NBA Entertainment league. I have two sisters, one older and one younger, so if you do the math that makes me a middle child. My life motto or words I choose to live by are “everything happens for a reason.” I don’t believe in dwelling on the past, just understanding it and looking at every opportunity in a positive light.

Why I joined Delta Sigma Pi:
My favorite thing about playing sports was the instant family I received every year with every new roster. I wanted to join Delta Sigma Pi for the same reason. I’m big on family and friends and this was my opportunity to possibly gain friendships I can only hope would last me a life time. The lessons I have learned, the connections I have established, and the friendships I have made can only be described as one thing… Priceless.
